Our expertise and industry experience enables us to provide either budgets, design and construct estimates and detailed quotations that consider multiple aspects of an E&I project.  As part of this process, we work with clients to identify shortfalls in scope and to highlight potential hidden costs.  We can provide Asset Condition Reports and Assessments at project initiation which can lead to detailed design and scope development.

Throughout each project stage, we maintain contact, interfacing with the client and other project stakeholders to ensure everyone plan and integrate works and report on project progress.

Prior to commencing work on site, we ensure all staff are conversant and familiar with :

  • Client and project design drawings, specifications and procedures
  • Installation methods to engineering detail and best practice tradesperson like finish which take into consideration environmental conditions
  • Materials to be used, to client preferred equipment schedule taking into account and consideration of environmental suitability and product longevity

Mason Electrical Engineering Contractors consult closely with clients to understand the total project requirements.

When assessing brown field sites and infrastructure, Mason Electrical Engineering Contractors have undertaken in depth site and asset condition reports and assessments. Reports are delivered to give a detailed schedule and understanding of existing site infrastructure. By auditing, detailing existing components and infrastructure, consideration can be given to the suitability to retain, replace or upgrade dependant on condition, cost or end of serviceable life expectancy. Whilst undertaking the assessment, consideration can be discussed to future proof the asset / installation with a view to operability, performance, dilapidation and safety considerations. Mason Electrical Engineering Contractors encourage stakeholder input and comment to ensure a complete project scope conversation to mitigate scope and interface gaps.

Preliminary cost estimates can be developed to assist with project feasibility requirements for budgeting purposes.

We allocate skilled and experienced teams to each project and have the capacity to contract in additional resources as necessary. All of our Management Team, Project Managers and Team Leaders – right through to E&I tradespersons have hands-on experience across a wide range projects in the process, utilities, materials handling and mining sectors. Specialized training needed is provided to  our team to meet project specific requirements.

Heading our E&I on site personnel are working team leaders/site supervisors who work together to execute and deliver packages often exceeding client expectations. We have a stable and skilled team of E&I personnel of whom are passionate and committed to execute projects safely, efficiently and to the highest level of quality. We are renowned for our delivery and execution to the highest standard – on time and on budget.

Mason Electrical Engineering Contractors have an accredited HSEQ Management System. We own and develop a SAFE culture through awareness, engagement, involvement and training. We strive for safety excellence, our people are our most important asset.

Our collaborative approach extends to our suppliers, who we view as critical to achieving project outcomes.  We plan our equipment/material requirements and pre-order to ensure that there are no project delays due to supply issues.  Throughout each stage of the project we plan and manage logistics to ensure timely delivery of services.

Our Management team and site supervision understand all aspects of project delivery requirements and the technical needs of each project. Consistent monitoring and supervision ensures quality control and effective delivery of each project.  Our supervision model ensures that all works are carried out as per the approved designs on schedule and within budget.

The most important verification of and E&I installation is adhering and producing detailed Inspection Test Plans (ITP’s) and Inspection Test Reports (ITR’s) and ‘As Constructed’ drawing mark ups. Mason Electrical personnel understand that the testing, verification and drawing mark up process is paramount to compliance and success of commissioning an installation. We ensure thorough, transparent and certified reporting.

Mason Electrical have a team of highly proficient E&I team leaders that work with control systems integrators and engineers to undertake and complete commissioning tasks. Industry experience and lateral thinking make us integral to the success of commissioning execution and handover of the asset to client and operational personnel.
