Finalists in the Industrial Apprentice Award

Mason Electrical Engineering Contractors would like to congratulate our apprentice Cameron Laird, who was a finalist for the 4th year Industrial Apprentice of the Year in the 2020 National Electrical and Communications Association’s (NECA) WA Apprentice Awards.

Cameron’s work ethic, initiative and can-do attitude have always set him apart.  He’s willing to go above and beyond what’s required, is keen to learn and has innovative ideas when problem solving.  All of these qualities made him an excellent candidate for the awards.

We are particularly proud of Cameron, not only for what he has learnt during his apprenticeship, but for the tradesman he has become since completing his Capstone this year.  With his outstanding skill set, he has considerable potential in the industry.

Mason Electrical Engineering Contractors has a strong commitment to mentoring, upskilling and training. We continually invest in apprenticeship training, employing our own apprentices and keeping them on as tradespeople upon completion.  Many of our former apprentices stay on to become part of our long-term staff, producing high quality work that exceeds industry and client satisfaction.

The awards process provides us with an opportunity to recognise the calibre of our apprentices and show our appreciation for their commitment.

Our congratulations to Cameron on being a NECA WA Industrial Award Finalist.  We look forward to his continued positive contribution to our business.
